Unlike typical hybrids which are based on iron profiles, the XDS Wide Sole Hybrid is designed around fairway wood parameters that allow for super high launch characteristics. This set gradually decreases the volume or size of the head as the loft is increased (and less help is usually needed). Bringing together tradition with modern game improvement technology, each Dynacraft Prophet CNC iron starts out as a solid billet of soft 1020 carbon steel. Through a new concept in production techniques, the head goes through a series of several steps where the clubhead is stamped and pressed into a raw, overweight forged blade. Next a computer numerically controlled (CNC) program precisely mills the back of the blade into the exact cavity shape. The milling doesn't stop there as an additional step creates an undercut cavity to allow for a deeper weight distribution found only in cast designs until now!
